MY EXPERIENCE:

Maybelline is by far, one of my favorite drugstore brands. As you may have noticed, I have reviewed the foundation, the eyeliner, the compact and almost everything the brand has to offer. And I don’t regret it one bit that I’m writing about yet another one of their products.

Moving on to the Packaging, the Candy Wow Lip Balms come with a retractable mechanism. It’s not one of those that could stop working after a few times. In fact, It’s quite sturdy. The shades are mentioned on the outer packaging but there’s no other information written on it. It is very travel-friendly and easy to carry.

The Shades are very bright and vibrant. While Cherry is a rosy red shade, Mixed Berry happens to be a light fuschia pink shade. The shades have a high color payoff and are very pigmented. A single swatch of this adds a pop of color to the lips.

The texture is  very smooth. It glides on the lips easily. Although, I have noticed that in extreme temperatures, it begins to melt away. So, just keep it hidden away from direct sunlight, preferably in room temperature.

Now, the Fragrance is absolutely divine. The Cherry variant smells like Cherry flavored candy, something along the lines of Sour Punk. If you’ve had that, you’d be reminded instantly of the delicious scent. The Mixed Berry scent is sort of like the berry jam. I love it so, so much. The scent is the best part of the Lipbalms, for me.
