MY EXPERIENCE:

Starting off with the packaging, the Rock Nudes Palette comes in a matte black packaging with a transparent top. There are all the details on the back. When opened, the Palette reveals 12 different shades. It comes with a dual-ended brush applicator which, (for ONCE), is something I wouldn’t mind using. Usually, brands keep in dual- ended sponge applicators which ruins the whole experience for me. But I’m glad that was not the case with this Palette. Although, there’s no mirror. 😖 (WHY DO THEY DO THIS TO ME?)

Moving on, You can create 13 different looks with these shades. The packaging is very sturdy and you can easily carry this palette around.

The shades are very gothic and mysterious, I think. The Palette comprises of several matte, metallic and shimmery shades. The shades are highly pigmented and the color payoff is awesome.

Although, most shades offer a smooth, creamy texture, some of them are extremely chalky and have the fall-out issue. (Like the White shade and the cream shade)

There’s a slight sweet smell that is detectable. People with sensitive noses wouldn’t mind it, anyway.

They are easily blendable and quite easy to apply. The eyeshadows don’t settle into fine lines or accentuate them either.

The staying power is approximately 6 hours or so and they stay put till then. Afterwards, the eyeshadow begins to fade away. You can use a primer which will make the color pop and last longer too.

OVERALL VERDICT: Maybelline The Rock Nudes Palette is the perfect for those who like edgy shades. It’s also amazing for a black smokey eye look or to perfect more such looks. The lighter shades can be used for a minimal Makeup look. The possibilities are endless. Although, it’s going to upset those who like summery shades. Also, this is a great palatte for fall.

Well, that’s it.

Hope you enjoyed reading this review!

Until next time,
